Falcon Family News: Oct 30, 2026

We had a blast here at Fairview today! The kids and staff were so dressed up and had an amazing time. After school, our students were boogeying down to amazing music, snacks, and fun with their friends.

Next week, our Season 2 Sports Season starts on Mon, Nov 2nd. Tryouts will start after school for Boys’ Basketball and Girls’ Soccer. Make sure you have your documents completed so they aren’t delayed in their tryouts. Information on Final Forms and other requirements can be found at this link.

Also, this next week on Thursday (5:30-7), we’ll be hosting the District Native American Heritage Night here at Fairview Middle School. Come on out to enjoy a great night!

Also coming up is a switch in classes for Unified Arts (UA) for our 6th Graders. The first quarter ends on Wednesday, and they’ll start their new UA Classes on Thursday. Students will get directions on how to find their new UA Classes during Advisory on Wednesday.

On Nov 10th, we'll be having our Veteran's Day Assembly. To honor those family members of our students and staff who have served, we are creating a slideshow of photos. If you'd like to submit your family member's service photo, please completely fill out this link by 4pm on Nov 6th. Also, we are going to be inviting any service member relatives of our students to our Veteran's Day Assembly on Nov 10th as special guests. The Assembly will be from 7:40-8:10am.

Have an amazing weekend,

Mr. Tebo

We are always trying to increase our communication to families. Please see this QR Code Resource Sheet. Use your phone to take a picture of each link, which will bring you to a school resource you may use. Thanks for your suggestions on resources we should add.

Please consider supporting our PTA through their upcoming Wreath Sale Fundraiser. Check out the details here. Our PTA works hard to support our students and staff with fun events, learning opportunities, and family fun. Thanks for your support of our PTA!

One thing we’re starting here at FMS is Baby Eyas (Name for baby falcon). Each week, we’ll show baby pictures from a few students and have students guess who they are. If you’d like your child’s baby picture to be included, please send your pictures to Heather Bowser, at heatherb@ckschools.org Please be sure to put your child’s name with the email as well. We’re hoping a few teachers will share their baby pics as well, so we can have fun guessing who is who.
