Falcon Family News: Oct 16, 2026

This was a spirit-filled week here at FMS! The staff and students rocked the week with their dressing up, cheering, and fun.

Next week, we start our first set of Parent Conferences. These conferences will be on Wed, Oct 21st, from 3:15-6:45, by invitation only. On Thurs, Oct 22nd, we will have Arena Conferences open to all families, from 10-1:30 and 2:30-6. Please come on out and meet with your student’s teachers. Click on this flyer for additional information.

Next week is also the finish of Fastpitch and the regular season for track. We will have Season 2 Informational meetings on Wednesday for all interested students during Advisory. Also on Wednesday, we will have picture retakes. If you’d like your child to retake their pictures, please send them to school with their envelope, so they can turn it in and get a new picture.

Our new sports season will begin the week of Nov 2nd, including Boys’ Basketball and Girls’ Soccer. Visit our website for additional details, so your student is registered for try outs.

As we approach the end of October and Halloween, I’d like to take a moment to share expectations for costumes on October 30th. Students are allowed to wear their costumes to school, but there are some limitations to this:

  • No weapons (real or fake) of any kind
  • Costumes must follow the dress code
  • No Masks- we need to see their face
  • Limited blood and gore
  • No inflatables during class- they are a distraction

Have a great weekend and enjoy this sun,
Mr. Tebo

Impact Aid Forms- Complete Online

Every year, Central Kitsap School District applies for federal Impact Aid funding. These funds make up for the local tax dollars we lose because of tax-exempt federal property.
The results of our Impact Aid survey support this request and are critical to our district's resources for students.

Please complete the form as soon as possible by logging into the PowerSchool Parent Portal, where the online forms for your students are available. To learn more, visit https://www.ckschools.org/impactaid or email ImpactAid@ckschools.org. Thank you for your cooperation!
