Falcon Family News: Sept 18, 2026

What an amazing week at Fairview this past week. We had school pictures, we launched our ASB Fundraiser, students were doing STAR Testing, and our sports competitions were going full swing for Track and Fastpitch. The students also loved shopping at our SOAR Ticket Store and the School Store that opens halfway through lunch.

A new focus this year is our Social Emotional Learning curriculum called Character Strong. Here at Fairview, we are calling it Falcon Strong. Each week, our students are receiving lessons about character traits and the week ends with a character dare. This week’s dare was to open a door for someone else or call a person by their name. Students are loving this new curriculum, and you can already see the positive impact on student behavior. Read the article below for more information about Character Strong.

One thing we’re starting here at FMS is Baby Eyas (Name for baby falcon). Each week, we’ll show baby pictures from a few students and have students guess who they are. If you’d like your child’s baby picture to be included, please send your pictures to Heather Bowser, at heatherb@ckschools.org Please be sure to put your child’s name with the email as well. We’re hoping a few teachers will share their baby pics as well, so we can have fun guessing who is who.
