Falcon Family News: June 5, 2026

Hello Fairview Families! We started our June calendar with a busy week here at Fairview. As we near the end of the year, we have numerous events here at Fairview. Check out the schedule of events below for more information.

Next week, we have 4 Field Trips here at Fairview and a major band event. We have a trip for our Students of the Month to the Tracyton Movie House on Monday. On Tuesday, our bands/choirs will be showcased in our Falcon Music Festival, complete with food trucks and groovy tunes. Consider coming out to hear some talented students.  We also have 2 groups going to Seattle on Wednesday. One group is going to the Art Museum and the other to the Klondike Museum and Underground Tour. Our newest Honor Society members will also be inducted on Wednesday evening in the Nest. Finally, we have a group going to PSNS on Friday for a job fair for kids. As you can see, our Falcons are flying out of school to have some fun experiences.

As we get closer to our final two weeks, I want to let you know of some events where families are invited. On June 15th, we have our 8th Grade Breakfast and Awards. All of our 8th Grade Families are invited to school to have breakfast with their 8th grade children. We will provide breakfast in our Commons from 8-8:45am. At 8:45am, we’ll move to the gym for our Awards Ceremony for 8th Grade. We also invite all of our 8th Graders and their families to our Promotion Ceremony on Tuesday, June 16th from 6-7pm. Families are also invited to our Talent Show on June 17th, from 7:40-9:40am. Please consider coming out for these fun events.

We are excited to welcome our students back for another amazing school year at Fairview Middle School! To help make our school feel even more fun, connected, and welcoming, we would love to feature photos of our students with their beloved pets from home.

Whether it’s a dog, cat, hamster, chicken, lizard, or any special furry (or scaly!) friend, we can’t wait to celebrate the pets that make your family unique.

Students are so excited to ride their scooters and E-bikes to school. Please remind your child to park their bike at the bike rack, use a lock, and wear a helmet to/from school. In addition, please remind them that they are to walk their scooter/bike on campus. Thanks for helping keep everyone safe as students scoot to school.
