Thank you Fairview Families! This round of Spring Conferences was a big hit. We had over 300 Parent Conferences over Wed and Thurs. Thank you so much for coming in and speaking with teachers and building a strong partnership with Fairview.

We have a few things going on this week. On Monday and Tuesday, 8th Graders will be working on their High School & Beyond Plans. Our 6th and 7th Graders will be selecting their electives during their science classes. On Tuesday, our 7th graders are in for a treat. All 7th Graders will attend a live performance put on the Living Voices. Students will have professional actors exploring Native American History through engaging stories.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, we’ll have some Orchestra happenings here at Fairview and on Thursday night, we have a fun family event with a screening of Zooptopia 2. This 6th Grade Fundraiser costs just $1 per person and should be family fun for all, sitting on our giant stairs in “The Nest” and watching this great film. Also during the school day on Thursday, we’ll have one of our important safety drills, the Lockdown. Please read below for more information about this drill, which will involve our School Resource Officer, Joe Ring.

Also below are some dates for End of the Year Events, like our 8th Grade Breakfast and 8th Grade Promotion. We want you to be able to plan out in advance, and so we wanted you to have these dates well ahead of time. In addition, we have information about some great fundraisers below, including the PTA Sock Fundraiser (really cool Falcon Socks!) and FMS Choir Night at the Seattle Sounders. Check below for more details.

Just a reminder, there is no school on Fri, March 27th, as it is a Snow Make Up Day.

Thanks for your partnership and have an awesome weekend,

Mr. Tebo
