Topics: No School 3/19 & 3/20, Conferences, Season 4 Sports Season Start, & More

This next week is a short one for school, but an important one for building a strong school to home connection through parent conferences. To accommodate for conferences district-wide, there will be no school for students on 3/19 and 3/20.

At Fairview, parent conferences will be partially by invite and partially open drop-in. See the details here for each day of conferences:

  • Wed, Mar 18th, 3-7:30: Conferences by invitation only, teachers have booked specific conferences with parents. Please do not show up wanting to meet with teachers, as they are already booked at pre-arranged conferences
  • Thurs, Mar 19th, 11-2:30 & 3:30-7: Open conferences in an Arena Style. No need to book a time…just show up. All teachers will be available in the Commons and Library to meet with you. There will be a short meal time break between 2:30-3:30, but otherwise, our staff is available to meet with you.
  • Fri, Mar 20th, No Conferences

Another important event next week is the beginning of our Season 4 here at Fairview. On Monday, March 16th, Girls’ Volleyball, X Country, and Football all start. Football (Grades ⅞ Only) and X Country are non-cut sports and Girls’ Volleyball is a cut sport. To ensure you have all your paperwork completed, visit this link for additional information

Have a great weekend Falcons,
Mr. Tebo

Activity Bus- Consider Having Your Child Ride

About a month ago, we started running our Activity Bus again here at Fairview. So far, we have been averaging less than 10 riders a day. This bus, which is open to everyone (clubs, sports, study hall) leaves FMS at 4:25 each day, and has 6 stops. Check out this flyer for more information. We’d like to advertise this option, as we know it is a valuable resource for working parents and those that can’t pick up their children after study hall, clubs, or sports.
