This first week of March was a busy and exciting time. We concluded our sports seasons and had a beautiful and entertaining choir concert.
For this next week, we have a short pause before we enter our final sports season on March 16th. If you need to complete any Final Forms or complete a physical, please get that done, so your child can start sports on Mar 16th. We have 3 sports, including Cross Country, Football (Grade ⅞ Only), and Volleyball. For details about sports and schedules,
please visit this link.
This next week is also Classified Appreciation Week. All week long, our paraeducators, office staff, security, and others will be celebrated. If you see one of these employees, give them a thanks. They work hard to support each Falcon!
Next week is also our next School Social. To be able to participate, students need to complete
this permission slip and pay $5 without ASB or $3 with ASB. This event will be on Fri, March 13th, from 2:15-4. Tickets can be bought at the ASB Window.
In the next couple of weeks, we have quite a few musical events coming up, including a trip for our orchestra to Central Washington University. Our Choir and Bands will also be competing in the OMEA Competitions. Things are hopping in our music rooms.
The biggest events coming up for families are our parent conferences. There will be no school for students on March 19th and 20th. On Wednesday, March 18th, we will have conferences with families by invitation only. If you show up wanting to meet a teacher, they will be busy meeting with specific families that have been invited. On Thursday, March 19th, we’ll be having our Arena Style Open Conferences. All teachers will be available for drop-in conferences. The conferences will run from 11-2:30 and then again from 3:30-7. There is no need to sign up…just show up during these hours to have conferences with your child’s teachers. There are no conference on Fri, Mar 20th.
I wanted to give a shout out to a local business, Rosie’s Asian Market. They have generously donated snacks for our Study Hall Students. Each study hall session, our students get a healthy snack thanks to the market. Thank you to them for supporting Fairview!
Have a great weekend,
Mr. Tebo
