We have come to the end of February. It is amazing how time flies, and that next week is March. As we get into March, we start thinking of next year. Soon, we’ll be having students make elective selections for next year, we’ll be welcoming our 5th Graders on campus, and we’ll start our preparation for 8th Grade milestones, including the move to high school, promotion, and the fun end of the year activities. We’ll also have our State Testing, as well as other Spring Assessments. Please check this weekly message as details on these events start coming out.
About a month ago, we started running our Activity Bus again here at Fairview. So far, we have been averaging less than 10 riders a day. This bus, which is open to everyone (clubs, sports, study hall) leaves FMS at 4:25 each day, and has 6 stops. Check out this flyer for more information. We’d like to advertise this option, as we know it is a valuable resource for working parents and those that can’t pick up their children after study hall, clubs, or sports.
If you haven’t had a chance to look at your child’s First Semester Report Card, please click on this link for directions on how to view and print this document. When you get to the page, navigate down to the section “How do I view Report Cards and SBA Scores?” Click on that section and you will get guidance on the steps to view and print report cards.
Have a fantastic weekend and hopefully it will remain sunny!

To help make student accounts safer, our District is implementing Multi-Factor Authentication. This process, which students will learn on Monday, Mar 2nd, will enable students to have a 6 digit code to authorize their accounts and keep them safer, each time they login.

One thing we’re starting here at FMS is Baby Eyas (Name for baby falcon). Each week, we’ll show baby pictures from a few students and have students guess who they are. If you’d like your child’s baby picture to be included, please send your pictures to Heather Bowser, at heatherb@ckschools.org Please be sure to put your child’s name with the email as well. We’re hoping a few teachers will share their baby pics as well, so we can have fun guessing who is who.
