The first semester is in the books! What a great half of the year it has been. We are excited to launch into Semester 2 and all exciting learning, sports, and events that we have in store.

Just a friendly reminder that we don’t have school tomorrow, Friday, 1/30/26, as it is a non-student day to designate the end of the semester. Teachers are working on final grading, and report cards will be available to families on PowerSchool beginning 2/12/26.

On Monday morning, we start the new semester, and if your child’s schedule is changing, they’ll get their new schedule in Advisory Class. Just a reminder that we are really focusing on helping students start the semester the right way. Major focuses for semester 2 will include an emphasis on students using their planners, grade checks, and assistance to students on how to keep up with their school work. We appreciate all the help you provide your child in these areas. 

The Activity Bus is starting back up on Monday, Feb 2nd, and will run daily at 4:25 from school. This will help support transportation for our Study Hall Students, athletes, and those attending clubs. Check out this flyer for more information. 

On Tuesday, Feb 10th, we’ll be starting our After School Study Hall. A mix of teachers and Honor Society students will be providing tutoring to invited students. These students will be nominated by their teachers for assistance. Invitations will be coming out next week.

The Activity Bus is starting back up for the entirety of the 2nd Semester, through May. The bus has 6 stops, and it will be transporting our students that have sports, clubs, and/or study hall. Please check out this flyer that we’re using to advertise this bus. The bus will leave FMS at 4:25 daily.

Study Hall will be starting up on February 10th. Study Hall will be every Tues/Wed in the library after school, from 2:15-4pm. At each session, Study Hall Coordinators and Honor Society Students will provide tutoring to students who need assistance. Invitations for study hall will be sent out this week.
