Peninsula Community Health Services - School Based Health Center

Hello again! We are so excited to be back at Fairview in our Peninsula Community Health Service Clinic! Although there have been a lot of changes since March (thanks COVID *eyeroll*), PCHS has not changed in our dedication to provide services to our community and specifically to the students, families, and staff of CK school district here at the FMS School Based Health Center (SBHC). Some changes you can expect are all focused on keeping you and others around you safe and healthy.

Some of those changes include the following:

  • temperature checks on all patients and visitors prior to entering the FMS building.

  • masks being worn by patients, visitors and SBHC staff

  • telehealth visits offered for those who are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID in order to keep the clinic a clean and healthy place and to reduce possible transmission to others

But never fear! There are a lot of things that are the same as last year when we were here. With the exception of patients with COVID symptoms, we can do all other types of visits in-person including, well child exams, sports physicals, chronic disease management and follow up, mental health medication management and counseling. We also have some of the same faces that you have grown to know and love and a new face as well. Linsey and Jackie were here last year and we would love to welcome Judy to our SBHC team! She is a counselor and will be taking appointments for mental health counseling!

We are so excited to see you all, whether that be by telehealth, or in person! If you would like to schedule a visit for one of our services at FMS SBHC, please call 360-377-3776
and make sure to tell them that you want to be seen at the school. You can also contact the school nurse or one of the amazing counselors or staff at FMS and they will be able to assist you!
Easy peasy! See you soon!

Linsey, Jackie and Judy
